I know you're not supposed to pick favorites, but Murph is my favorite. It's rude to say it out loud. But my goodness. This dog. He's so charming! Here's a photo I took of the lad a few years ago.
He really is the life of the party. That happy-go-lucky, shaggy-haired friend that everyone just likes. Unconditionally.
He's also one of the first dogs whose likeness just worked really well with impressionism.
Maybe it's his personality. The intensity, yet the casualness. The way his shaggy coat parallels the loose brushwork so characteristic of impressionism.
Or maybe he looks good in any style. Something about this boy's personality made him a magnet for top-tier dog art.
I'll show you what I mean: We can end with a few other gems that came up while making art of Murph.

I can make one for you! All I need is five to ten clear images, and your doggo can be reimagined as a pop art sensation, or a rococo sophisticate.
